Job Summary:
The Project Manager III will drive delivery of complex technical projects within the Advanced Optics (AO) division. This pivotal role requires strong leadership to manage multi-functional technical teams collaborate with internal and external customers and ensure programs meet business technical and schedule objectives. The Project Manager III will develop execute and track project plans lead issue resolution and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization. Success in this position directly impacts the growth and innovation of the AO platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate technical teams to achieve program objectives and resolve challenges.
- Define and execute comprehensive project plans including schedules budgets and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with customers to gather requirements maintain engagement and address feedback.
- Track program spending revenue resources and key milestones for on-time on-budget delivery.
- Assess risks manage program scope and adapt strategies to evolving requirements.
- Articulate project direction purpose and risks across multiple organizational levels.
- Apply process discipline and controls to maintain quality and compliance.
- Prepare compelling business cases including financial impacts and strategic value.
- Oversee product testing and facilitate transfer to manufacturing as needed.
- Recommend program progression or cessation at each stage to leadership.
- Protect intellectual property and leverage commercial technical and manufacturing opportunities.
