Job Description

We are looking for anIBM DataStage ETLDeveloperto support the optimization project of our clients Cost Allocation Recovery System and other background systems. This position will be full-time and hybrid (3-days onsite) in Trenton NJ. This is a 1-year engagement.

What Youll Do

• Support existing and new development underIBM DataStage ETLver11 using flat file (CSV)MS SQL ServerExcel andOracledata for OITs CAR billing system
• Intake usage billing data from about 20 different internal service provider sources and transform it into a common billing application running underOracle
• Maintain existing billing processes using DataStage ETL for 34 billed services and develop new ETL processes for IBM mainframe billing replacing existing legacyCOBOLprocessing
• Developerror reportingprocessing out of DataStage for business users to correct errors
• Improve existing DataStage processes where production anomalies exist and enhance pain-points where possible

What Youll Need

Required:

• 5 years or more experience and knowledge of IBM DataStage v11 ETL processes including:DataStage development lifecycle: code test verify deploy and handling inputs inCSVfile SQL ServerOracle orExcel; outputs inOracle
• 5 years or more experience and knowledge ofOracle SQL including: extensive knowledge of SQL functions triggers and stored procedures and the ability to research processing errors debug and implement corrective actions
• Strongdata analysisand problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellentcommunication skillsfor collaboration with co-developers supervisors and client business users

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge ofTOAD(database utility)

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
• Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings
