Job Summary
Job Title: Supply Planner
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Wichita KS 67202
Shift: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:30 PM OR 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Role Overview
Manage day-to-day supply and delivery planning for packaged truck operations
Ensure efficient carrier utilization cost control and on-time delivery
Support supply chain planning inventory management and customer requirements
Responsibilities
Plan and schedule daily truck deliveries for assigned business unit
Manage carrier utilization scheduling and cost/service reporting
Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements
Create and manage orders in SAP using carrier ranking strategies
Monitor unrouted orders and coordinate shipping and delivery timelines
Handle order changes customer add-ons and load adjustments
Approve and track carrier invoicing and costs
Develop supply plans and track performance metrics
Support inventory planning including safety stock and cycle stock
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet service levels
Identify and escalate operational issues when needed
Must Have
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
2 years of relevant experience (or 4 years overall experience)
Experience in supply planning logistics or transportation
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage orders scheduling and delivery planning
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
SAP experience
Experience with carrier management and freight operations
Knowledge of inventory planning and supply chain metrics
Experience in food manufacturing or similar industry
Ability to work with reporting tools and performance tracking
