Salary Range: $139000 - $149000 per year

Job Overview
The Permian Sales Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth managing customer relationships and supporting strategic sales initiatives within the Permian Basin. This role works closely with internal teams such as marketing operations product development and customer success to align customer needs with business goals. The position also serves as the primary contact for clients while supporting internal teams in delivering effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management
  • Develop manage and expand a strong sales pipeline within assigned markets and customer accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and market outreach.
  • Support sales forecasting reporting and performance tracking to guide business decisions.
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers ensuring consistent communication and high satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand operational needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Build long-term partnerships through a consultative sales approach.
Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends competitor activity and customer insights to guide commercial decisions.
  • Assist with pricing strategies proposal development and contract discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations product marketing and finance teams to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Share customer feedback to support product development and service improvements.
Leadership & Coaching
  • Mentor junior sales team members and assist with onboarding new hires.
  • Promote accountability strong performance and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering Atmospheric Sciences Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with established connections with operators in the Permian Basin.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales business development or account management.
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM systems sales analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.
  • 60 80% travel within the region as required.
  • Service-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years in a similar sales leadership or account management role.
  • Experience with ESG emissions monitoring or atmospheric sciences.
  • Strong background in the Oil & Gas industry particularly in the Permian Basin.
  • Experience working in roles requiring autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
