About the role:
The role of the People Administrator is to provide comprehensive People support to the People Team and to contribute to delivering a high-quality service to our employees. You will work collaboratively with the Offshore People Administrators to ensure all processes are correctly administered with the correct addition to this there will be a need to support various UK People Team projects. This role would suit someone who is looking to start their career in HR is diligent and has good attention to detail. The role requires individuals who are happy to engage with employees and provide best-practice advice to support the delivery of a high-performing People service.
What you will be doing:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees by providing guidance and support on HR-related policies processes and best practices.
- Manage the employee lifecycle administration including onboarding and offboarding contract management payroll andabsencemanagement.
- Provide professional and efficient support and advice to managers and employeesregardingincoming queries.
- Produce and peer review employee documentation such as offer letters contracts and other related documents.
- Enhance and document processes associated with onboarding offboarding and other employee lifecycle events.
- Facilitate the payroll process ensuring information accuracy and serving as the point of contact for Payroll and Finance teams.
- Support People Advisors and People Partners in generating reports handling employee relations cases and ensuring data accuracy.
- Oversee all HR operational tasks to ensure audit readiness and effective processes.
- Collaborate with People Partners to continuously improve processes ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Activelyparticipatein team activities and collaborate with other departments within the People Team.
- Complete ad-hoc projects reporting and tasksanalysingdata to provideaccuratestatistics whenrequired.
- Ensure compliance with Safer Recruitment procedures such as references right-to-work checks and data protection compliance.
- Support the employee performance appraisal and compensation planning processes.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Strong administrative andorganisationalskills with attention to detail
- Experience in general HR administration including onboarding payroll and absence management
- Proficient in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
- Prior experience as a People Administrator or in a similar HR support role
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Ability toidentifyprocess improvement opportunities
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
