SR. ENGINEER / SCIENTIST OR SR. PRINCIPAL III - IV Las Vegas NV
Duration: 6 months with extension option up to 2 years
One (1) Position Available
US Citizenship Required

JOB SUMMARY:
Develop Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) and/or Project Requirements Specifications (PRS) for electrical projects and/or support the electrical component of building utility or equipment projects including project/task breakdowns identification of requirements (functional non-functional operational requirements) and developing conceptual visualizations and illustrations of the layouts site plans and other perspective views to support the requirements document.

FRD/PRS development includes working with integrated project teams (IPTs) and stakeholders to capture their input research developing using the existing process use of existing templates and previous projects performing FRD/PRS reviews and comment incorporation and resolution with IPT members and finalizing the document for approvals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education:
Sr. Engineer/Scientist III-
13 years Bachelors degree

Sr. Engineer/Scientist IV-
15 years Bachelors degree

Principal III-
16 years Bachelors Degree

Principal IV-
20 years Bachelors Degree

Education/Experience Substitutions:
1. Certification A Professional Engineers License will substitute for 4 years experience; An industry certification such as PMP will substitute for 3 years of experience.
2. Education An advanced degree will substitute for 3 years experience; 5 or more years relevant experience will substitute for an advanced degree.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Area Security Access: Clearance not required. Uncleared.
