Position Overview

TheManufacturing Technician Isupports aerospace and spaceflight production through hands-on fabrication and structural assembly processes. ThisManufacturing Technician Irole involves working with precision components interpreting technical documentation and maintaining strict quality standards in a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Required Experience & Skills

High School Diploma or GED required
02 years of manufacturing fabrication or assembly experience
Ability toread work instructions process sheets and technical drawings
Strongmechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to handleprecision aerospace components carefully and accurately
Ability tomulti-task and meet production deadlines
Strongcommunication and teamwork skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Performmechanical fabrication using hand tools and inspection equipment
Operate within fabrication disciplines such asdeburring shearing polishing sawing and routing
Receive cross-training inassembly brake forming heat treat hot forming and press forming processes
Followdetailed work instructions blueprints and production documentation
Conductbasic visual and dimensional inspectionsof manufactured components
Accurately completeproduction routers inspection logs and documentation
Maintain aclean organized and safety-focused work environment
Collaborate with production teams toidentify manufacturing issues and improve processes

Preferred Experience

Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
Familiarity withaerospace manufacturing standards (AS9100)
Exposure toLean Manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement programs
Mechanical experience inaerospace automotive or motorsports environments
Forklift or material handling experience (certification required)

Computer Skills

Basic proficiency withcomputer systems and material management software

Additional Requirements

Must belegally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to comply withOSHA NADCAP ISO9000 / AS9100 ITAR and FAA regulations
Ability to obtaininternal certifications such as forklift slings/cranes FPV or heat treat certifications

Physical Requirements

Ability tostand walk bend and reach for extended periods (812 hours per shift)
Ability tolift carry push or pull 2550 lbs regularly with heavier lifting assisted when needed
Ability to work in amanufacturing environment with moderate noise vibration and varying temperatures
Ability to wearrequired PPE including safety glasses gloves and hearing protection
