DescriptionAs member of the Supply Planning Group the Planner/Buyer is responsible for working closely with the counterparts at our factories as well as our external partners in securing the timely supply of test and measurement equipment for our customer base. You will also coordinate with Customer Service our Warehouse team Sales and Accounts Receivable Teams in fulfilling customer demand. Exercise entrepreneurial spirit as you balance customer satisfaction inventory and cost on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Place and follow up on orders at factories and/or external suppliers for inventory and back-to-back projects.
- Translate forecasts into order strategy at factories and/or external suppliers balancing service level and inventory.
- Regular review and maintenance of item settings triggering internal orders (e.g. min/max) and customer communication (e.g. lead times).
- Highlight supply constraints in demand planning review.
- Work on resolutions of supply constraints with respective counterparts.
- Resolve customer quality feedback on product and process level.
- New Product Introductions and End of Life management within assigned portfolio.
- Regular review of returns with associated resolution to any discrepancies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Background in logistics/planning is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.
- You are a strong communicator (written and verbal) across all organizational levels. English is second nature to you.
- You can absorb and distill a lot of information to determine the critical few to action.
- You are highly analytical and methodical in your approach.
- You enjoy problem solving.
- You enjoy a fast-paced environment.
