Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA IS-Retail and SAP Sales & Distribution to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementation enhancements and production support along with a solid understanding of business processes in Sales & Distribution and Materials Management.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze AS-IS and TO-BE business processes identify gaps and provide optimized SAP solutions to bridge those gaps.
Work closely with Business Process Owners and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are aligned with SAP configurations and developments.
Perform configuration development support maintenance and enhancements in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules.
Participate in SAP implementation projects system enhancements and continuous improvements.
Provide production support for existing SAP SD and MM processes including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP SD with other modules.
Document business requirements functional specifications and solution designs clearly and effectively.
Support testing activities including Unit Testing Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Assist in debugging issues with basic ABAP debugging knowledge to identify root causes and coordinate with technical teams.
Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices and IS-Retail implementation methodologies.
Participate in Agile project environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
5 years of relevant experience in SAP SD with exposure to S/4HANA and IS-Retail.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Strong experience in SAP Sales & Distribution configuration and business processes.
Experience in SAP implementation enhancement and production support projects.
Good understanding of SAP MM integration with SD processes.
Exposure to Retail industry business processes is preferred.
Ability to identify business requirements and convert them into functional design documentation.
Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and understanding technical code for issue analysis.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications :

5 years of relevant experience in SAP SD with exposure to S/4HANA and IS-Retail.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Strong experience in SAP Sales & Distribution configuration and business processes.
Experience in SAP implementation enhancement and production support projects.
Good understanding of SAP MM integration with SD processes.
Exposure to Retail industry business processes is preferred.
Ability to identify business requirements and convert them into functional design documentation.
Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and understanding technical code for issue analysis.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
