- Provide mental health services consultation and training to staff and program participants.
- Conduct initial and follow-up clinical assessments and mental health screenings for referred customers and new applicants.
- Identify and diagnose mental health conditions using standardized procedures.
- Review medical and health-related documentation including prior records to support accurate evaluations.
- Perform biopsychosocial evaluations and determine functional capacity outcomes; request additional assessments when necessary.
- Collaborate with Case Evaluators Physicians and Health Staff to ensure follow-up activities are completed.
- Prepare and sign clinical assessment reports as required by the Human Resources Administration (HRA) and obtain customer signatures when applicable.
- Work closely with service planning teams to interpret clinical findings and inform individualized service plans.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to gather comprehensive information during assessments.
- Participate in team meetings to improve assessment processes and provide input on clinical documentation standards.
- Deliver mental health education sessions to staff and students as required.
- Ensure compliance with HRA policies RWS standard operating procedures and all applicable Puerto Rico laws and regulations.
- Attend mandatory training sessions related to clinical practice and program requirements.
Qualifications :
Education
Masters degree Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
Licensing and Credentials
Active unrestricted license to practice as an independent practitioner in Puerto Rico without supervision.
Permanent License authorized by Psychologist Examiner Board.
Puerto Rico Department of Health Registration Certification as a Psychologist
Certification under Puerto Rico Law 300
Current CPR/First Aid Certification for Healthcare Professionals
Current health certificate.
Valid Puerto Rico drivers license and acceptable driving record.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed independent practitioner providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents and young adults (ages 1624).
Experience in a fast-paced performance-driven team environment.
Key Competencies
Effective communication leadership and customer service skills.
Exceptional customer engagement skills; training or experience in motivational interviewing and care management techniques.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Technical Knowledge
