Job Summary
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager here at Honeywell you will hold a key role accountable for overseeing and managing the maintenance and operational aspects of our organizations physical facilities. This position is essential in ensuring that facilities are well-maintained safe and fully functional. You will report directly to our Facilities Manager and youll work out of our designated location in . This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a combination of on-site and remote this role you will have an impact on the overall success of the business. Your guidance to the facilities team will foster a safe and productive work environment enhancing employee satisfaction and productivity. Your expertise in facilities management will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards ultimately contributing to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of maintenance staff including technicians custodial workers and contractors to ensure efficient and effective performance
- Develop and implement maintenance plans manage budgets maintain equipment inventory ensure safety and environmental compliance collaborate with vendors develop emergency response plans implement energysaving practices conduct inspections and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Proven guidance and management skills.
- Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with budget management.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Facilities Management or a related field.
- Strong guidance and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and thoughtful skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
