About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 supporting pupils to develop scientific knowledge analytical skills and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that include practical experiments and demonstrations

• Supporting pupils in developing problem-solving and analytical skills

• Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

• Preparing pupils for examinations and assessments

• Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum

• Supporting departmental initiatives clubs or enrichment activities

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have strong subject knowledge in Physics

• Be confident delivering practical and theoretical lessons

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• Be passionate about inspiring pupils in science education

• Work effectively within a collaborative department
