Debenham High Schoolare seeking a Teacher of Musicto join the music department from September 2026.
We are an oversubscribed high-achieving 11-16 comprehensive school where music is a 2025 85% of pupils opting for music achieved grade 9 - 4 and 31% grade 9-7.
Opportunities for outreach work with other schools locally and a range of professional development opportunities are available.
Debenham High School is a high achieving Church of England standalone secondary academy with approximately 710 students aged 11-16 and serves a catchment area north-west of Ipswich in rural Suffolk. The school is a founder school of the Heart of Suffolk Education Trust which comprises three successful Church of England schools all based in the heart of Suffolk.
