Product Owner Data Insights & Analytics

Location: Newport Beach CA (Onsite 5 days per week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner Data Insights & Analytics to lead high-performing Agile teams focused on delivering scalable high-impact data and analytics solutions. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy data platforms and Agile delivery partnering closely with engineering analytics and executive stakeholders to turn complex data needs into actionable products and insights.

The ideal candidate brings deep Product Owner expertise hands-on Scrum leadership and a strong understanding of data analytics and insights within fast-paced high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the product vision roadmap and backlog for data insights and analytics initiatives
Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into clear prioritized product requirements
Lead Agile delivery across Scrum teams ensuring alignment to business outcomes and value realization
Serve as a key liaison between data engineering analytics and business teams driving clarity and alignment
Apply Scrum and Agile best practices across the SDLC in a high-volume enterprise-scale environment
Facilitate backlog refinement sprint planning reviews and retrospectives in partnership with Scrum Masters
Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship leveraging prior Scrum Master experience
Communicate effectively with audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior executives
Track progress dependencies and risks using Jira Jira Align and Confluence
Continuously improve team performance through a growth mindset experimentation and learning

Required Qualifications

8 years of experience as a Product Owner on Scrum teams
5 years of experience as a Scrum Master on Scrum teams
Strong capabilities with Data Analytics Insights for Agile teams
Scrum and Agile program experience for SDLC with high volume
Hands-on technical experience a plus
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels
Demonstrated growth mindset adaptability and proactive can-do attitude
Proficiency with Jira Jira Align and Confluence
Local to Newport Beach CA and willing to work onsite 5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on technical background or experience working closely with data engineering or analytics platforms
Experience delivering enterprise-scale data products dashboards or insight platforms
Strong understanding of Agile metrics value delivery and continuous improvement
