Job Summary

Job Description:

A Civil Engineer for a construction companymanages designs and oversees infrastructure projects like roads bridges and buildings from conception to completion. They are responsible for preparing site plans calculating structural loads/costs ensuring safety compliance (e.g. OSHA) and supervising on-site work. They require expertise in AutoCAD project management software and structural analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Design:Develop detailed blueprints structural plans and technical specifications using CAD software.
Site Management:Oversee on-site construction activities ensuring compliance with building codes regulations and safety standards.
Technical Analysis:Conduct soil tests topographical surveys and environmental impact assessments.
Cost & Resource Management:Prepare project budgets estimates for material/labor costs and manage sub-contractors.
Documentation:Prepare progress reports project schedules and compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Technical Skills:Proficiency inAutoCADCivil 3DMS Project and structural analysis software.
Experience:Proven experience in structural design site supervision or project management.
Competencies:Strong leadership communication problem-solving and time-management skills.
