Principal Engineer Electrical

Job Summary

Serves as the technical lead for complex building projects ensuring design excellence regulatory compliance and adherence to AECOM standards and best practices.

Job Description

• Lead the electrical design delivery for complex building and infrastructure projects.
• Review and sign off on design basis reports equipment selection and technical schematics.
• Implement AECOM design standards and conduct technical peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Mentor and guide project teams including leading BIM execution plans and coordination activities.
• Support earlystage project development including feasibility studies concept design and technical justification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters degree/ preferred).
• 912 years of progressive experience in electrical design with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in system integration electrical building services and energyefficient design strategies.
• Proven ability in stakeholder engagement coordination and technical negotiation

Additional Information :

Additional Information

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Experience coordinating with statutory authorities and supporting authority approvals.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct or participate in independent technical and peer design reviews.
