Junior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who is eager to learn and grow in cloud infrastructure automation and deployment practices. You will support the development and operations teams by assisting in maintaining reliable systems automating workflows and improving deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
• Support cloud infrastructure management on AWS (EC2 S3 IAM etc.)
• Help deploy and manage applications using Docker
• Write basic scripts (Bash Python) to automate routine tasks
• Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues
• Help maintain logs alerts and dashboards using monitoring tools
• Collaborate with development teams to support releases and bug fixes
• Follow best practices for system reliability security and scalability

Qualifications :

• 2 years of experience in DevOps Cloud or related fields (internships included)
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms preferably AWS
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions Jenkins etc.)
• Exposure to Docker or containerization concepts
• Basic scripting skills (Bash Python or similar)
• Understanding of version control systems like Git

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch)
• Basic understanding of networking and security concepts
• Relevant certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner etc.)
