Data Engineer Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop construct test and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
- Ensure data quality and reliability by designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Optimize and secure data infrastructure to meet performance and data security requirements.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical support as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in data engineering data warehousing or data architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala.
- Strong knowledge of database systems ETL processes and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a data engineering role.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark or Kafka.
- Experience working in healthcare or related industry is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $95000 to $135000 per year depending on qualifications and experience.
