Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Security Engineer to design implement and manage security controls across Azure cloud environments.
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure security services identity and access management network security compliance and threat detection and will work closely with cloud DevOps and application teams to ensure a securebydesign cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure cloud security architecture aligned with enterprise security standards
- Secure Azure workloads across IaaS PaaS and SaaS environments
- Implement and manage Azure security services including Defender for Cloud and Sentinel
- Configure and enforce Identity & Access Management (IAM) using Azure AD / Entra ID
- Design and manage network security controls (NSGs Azure Firewall WAF Private Endpoints)
- Perform continuous security monitoring detection and response
- Conduct security assessments risk analysis and threat modeling
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security requirements
- Partner with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Lead incident response activities and postincident root cause analysis
- Create security documentation standards and architecture diagrams
- Mentor junior security engineers and provide technical leadership
