Summary
T2S Solutions currently has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team operating out of Huntsville AL. T2S is an innovative agile mission-focused product and solution provider specializing in Rapid Prototyping and Experimentation Systems Development Integration Test and Sustainment. Our customers include the DoD Mission Partners Industry Partners and other Government Agencies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with Recruiting and Onboarding to ensure all new hires are accurately entered into the HRIS system and properly set up in company systems
- Maintain and monitor employee data in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
- Assist with planning and facilitating management training and employee education on HR-related topics including New Employee Orientation and other programs as assigned
- Serve as an HR point of contact for designated departments providing guidance on employee relations matters and workplace concerns
- Assist with employee relations investigations
- Administer unemployment claims and coordinate required documentation responses assigned
- Assist employees by directing them to appropriate resources regarding FMLA disability accommodations and other leave-related matters
- Support internal employment process administration including transfers and promotions
- Contributes to the development review and modification of HR policies and procedures
- Support staff development initiatives across the organization to enhance employee knowledge skills and overall job performance
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal state and local employment laws as well as organizational policies and procedures
- Assist with recruitment initiatives including participation in hiring events or other talent attraction efforts when needed
- Communicate effectively written and verbal with employees at all levels of the organization
- Maintain positive collaborative working relationships with employees leadership and external partners
- Follow up promptly on employee concerns recommendations and complaints to ensure timely resolution
- Performs additional duties and participates in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred and 2-3 years of Human Resources experience required
- Experience with UKG Ready HRIS required
- Human Resources certification (SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP PHR SPHR etc.) a plus
