The Role

At FanDuel our developers are the foundation of every great fan experience and were looking for a Senior Product Owner for our Platform development team to empower them with the tools systems and workflows that make innovation faster and more reliable.

Youll be a key member of the Platform team partnering closely with the Senior Product Manager and Engineering Managers to translate platform strategy into actionable work for engineering teams.

This is a hands-on delivery-focused role that bridges product intent and engineering execution ensuring the internal platforms we build are scalable secure and deeply aligned with developer needs.

What Youll Be Doing

Be responsible for eliciting requirements in the form of user stories & acceptance criteria prioritizing the product backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components.

Establish and maintain domain expertise on the product.

Bring fresh ideas to the table when working to solve business problems using your commercial understanding to generate innovative solutions.

Be an enabling force driving effective and sustainable change guiding the business through the journey.

Play a key role in self-organizing agile delivery teams.

Work within a collaborative environment liaising with stakeholders across the global organization and the broader delivery team.

Play a key role within the PO community at FanDuel sharing industry best practices and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and cross-skilling.

What Youll Bring

Experienced Product Owner ideally with experience in Developer Platforms or Internal Tooling.

Proven track record managing and delivering complex products and features.

Deep understanding of agile delivery processes with experience supporting multiple engineering teams.

Has depth of technical understanding within their area of expertise and has the maturity to work independently delivers effective updates and identifies barriers that would prevent completion of initiatives.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Experience using data and metrics to inform decisions and track platform adoption.

A passion for improving developer experience streamlining processes and scaling systems that support innovation.

Wed love to see
