Make a Difference This Summer at ChildServe!

Want to get paid to have fun this summer If so ChildServe Respite has the perfect summer-only opportunity for you! As a Summer Camp Respite Assistant youll provide personal care and supervision for children with special healthcare needsout in the community and at our Johnston location while enjoying a rewarding and meaningful job during the summer months.

Schedule

Summer seasonal
M-F 8am-4:30pm

How Youll Make an Impact

Have fun with kids while their regular caregivers get a break
Be creative while engaging children in activities
Provide care at our Johnston Campus and out in the community
Receive ongoing training and supervision
Great resume builder for those interested in social work education therapy psychology and nursing

What Youll Need:

Must be at least 16 years old to apply
Those 18 and over must be willing to provide transportation as a ChildServe authorized driver if required. This includes passing a motor vehicle record check and car safety check and able to provide a valid drivers license and insurance
Ability to lift up-to 35 lbs. be mobile within the assigned work area and frequently bend lift reach and stand
Ability to communicate effectively in reading writing and speaking the English language
