SUMMARY: The Systems Senior Engineer is responsible for activities related to system administration. This position will ensure long term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Define the business requirements for the organizations next generation of collaborative work tools which involves working with end-users to develop specifications for the development and implementation of enterprise applications (e.g. Active Directory Microsoft Exchange).
Responsible for the implementation maintenance and support of enterprise systems.
Evaluate and recommend associated hardware/software solutions based on business requirements and user needs.
Provide technical leadership in the design development and promotion of selected enterprise strategies.
Responsible for operating systems software selection and development and continued maintenance of such systems to improve efficiencies.
Provide technical consultation and support to users and other Information Technology (IT) staff.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field AND 5 years of Information Technology (IT) experience related to systems engineering development administration and support
