As a Security Officer - Data Center Ingress in Northampton PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will manage access control greet and screen visitors and drivers verify badges and credentials and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees drivers contractors and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and/or emergency response activities at a logistics distribution location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and building access points by verifying identification issuing temporary badges maintaining visitor and vehicle logs and directing traffic to designated areas.
• Screen deliveries and shipping activity by checking bills of lading and/or pickup documentation coordinating with onsite teams and reporting discrepancies through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events in required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility loading docks parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control and Badge Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
