Elementary Associate Teachers at Capital City:Work with an experienced teacher and a class of 18-25 students Plan and implement daily lessons and curriculum units with a lead teacherWork with small groups and individual students in all subject areasAccompany students on fieldworkAttend weekly professional development sessionsSupport the schools social and academic curriculumParticipate in weekly meetings with your classroom and grade level teamCommunicate with parentsEngage in professional development focused on building your capacity as a teacherAttend summer instituteCapital City seeks to employ experienced and credentialed associate teachers. Minimum required qualifications: Associates degree or 2 years towards a Bachelors Degree and a passing score of the Paraprofessional certification.
