Drive Spare Parts Sales Forward as Our New Sales Engineer

Are you looking for new opportunities in the field of technology in a global environment Join us in creating even better service for our Energy customers together with other members of the spare parts team!

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our dynamic PEC Service Scandinavia spare parts team in Gothenburg Sweden to support spare parts sales and delivery projects in the EMEA area. This position is a permanent employment contract.

Your responsibilities

As a sales engineer you answer Pulp Energy & Paper customers inquiries related to daily spare parts and annual shutdown parts. Your task is to determine the most suitable technical solution for the customer together with other experts. You are responsible for pricing spare parts according to pricing rules and for recording quotes and orders in the ERP system.

In addition to end customer contacts cooperation with the EMEA area organization is an essential part of the job description. Working in matrix organization and with external stakeholders such as procurement and logistics is key to successful performance in this role. Your goal is to find new opportunities to serve end customers more proactively and support the area even better with the customer interface.

The work is independent but you are also an important part of the team and want to work with both internal and external clients.

The job requires punctuality and precision and you need to be persistent and interested in seeking information and finding solutions.

To succeed in this role you will require the following:

  • Technical education (min. bachelors degree).
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (written and oral) other languages are an advantage.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and documents.
  • Previous work experience in spare parts business and/or knowledge of boilers is an advantage.
  • Customer focus pressure tolerance and time management.
  • Good skills in problem solving communication and decision-making.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  • IT skills: MS Office & Outlook ERP and design programs are an advantage.
  • Driving License.
  • Readiness to travel.
