We are looking for a versatile and proactiveIT System Administratorto supportmaintain and scale our internal infrastructure and business systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with strong Linux and infrastructure fundamentals solidnetworking knowledge and practical experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
You will focus on day-to-day systems administration infrastructure reliability and operational improvements. For a candidate eager to grow this role offers exciting opportunities to expand into advanced automation infrastructure as code and complex SaaS/system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations & Support(50%)

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure systems and application issues.

  • Support core IT operations including employee onboarding/offboarding access provisioning and internal system configurations.

  • Maintain clear up-to-date technical documentation for infrastructure procedures and system changes.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and internal teams on technical initiatives.

Systems & Cloud Administration(30%)

  • Administer andmaintainLinuxandWindowsserver environments supporting core internal services and applications.

  • Support and manageMicrosoft 365services including Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) Exchange Online SharePoint Teams and overall access management.

  • Monitor system health performance and reliability activelyidentifyingareas to improve operational processes.

Networking & Infrastructure(10%)

  • Manage and improve internal infrastructure across servers networking cloud services and identity systems.

  • Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches firewalls VPNs DNS DHCP and internal connectivity.

Automation & Integrations(10%)

  • Develop andmaintainscripts (Bash Python PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency andeliminatemanualtoil.

  • Contribute to systemintegrationsand automation between internal and external platforms as business needsevolve.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:At least4 years in systems administration infrastructure or internal IT operations roles.

  • Operating Systems:Strong experience administering Linux systems in a production environment alongside working experience supporting Windows environments.

  • Infrastructure &Networking:Solid understanding of server administration system troubleshooting monitoring and corenetworking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP routing firewalls VPNs).

  • Microsoft 365:Hands-on experience administering M365 environments including Entra ID and core collaboration/identity services.

  • Scripting:Experience writing scripts orautomationsusing Bash Python PowerShell or similar languages.

  • Problem Solving:Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues across disparate systems and internal infrastructure.

  • Soft Skills:Strong documentation habits excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to learnnewtools and platforms quickly.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience withAWSinfrastructure (EC2 S3 IAM or related services).

  • Familiarity withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

  • Experience withDockeror containerized environments.

  • Previousexperience administering physical or virtualnetworkdevices (switches firewalls VPN appliances).

  • Experience building automations using APIs and vendor documentation to integrate SaaS platforms with internal systems.

Min: $60356 - Max: $110356 CAD annually
Actual total compensation will be determined at the Companys discretion and is based on a variety of job-related factors which may include but are not limited to relevant knowledge skills experience performance and education and/or training.
