Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customerfocused automotive/mechanical Service Technician to join our Nilfisk workshop team. This role suits a technician who enjoys handson mechanical work accurate diagnostics and a wellorganised workshop environment. You will assemble service maintain and repair Nilfisk equipment in Arndell Park.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and test new equipment prior to delivery.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and maintenance on Nilfisk equipment in the workshop.
Dismantle repair reassemble and test machines to Nilfisk standards.
Manage workshop parts including receiving storing and allocating items to the correct job.
Assist with dispatch receiving goods and customer dropoffs when required.
Communicate with customers and provide clear updates about their equipment.
Complete digital job documentation accurately including labour hours and parts used.
From time to time customer site visits may be required to support field-based service technicians.
About You
To thrive in this role you will bring:
A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical or automotive servicing
Strong diagnostic and problemsolving ability
Experience working with mobile equipment electrical or hydraulic systems
Clear communication skills and a customerfocused approach
High attention to detail especially with documentation and parts allocation
Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital service systems
A current unrestricted drivers licence and
The ability to safely lift carry and manoeuvre heavy equipment following workplace safety standards
