What youwill do

You willbe responsible forall operations for theJohnson Controls (JCI)Lubbock distribution center supportingtheFireSuppressionProducts (FSP/ WaterMechanical productbusiness units. You will promote a performance-based culture passionate about providing our customers withan outstandingexperience. You will also partner with peers in Manufacturing InventoryControland Quality to build solutions and processes that yield perfect shipments stable inventory levels andoptimalefficiency.

Howyou willdo it

Management

  • StrongSafety Leadership

  • Champion azero-incidentsafety culture; proactivelyidentifyhazards and lead corrective action initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulatory and company safety standards across distribution andlogisticsfunctions.

  • Conduct routine safety auditstraining and risk assessments for all warehouse operations.

  • Provide overall leadership ofthe distributioncenter (DC)

  • Assistin the development and support of regional distribution strategies to achieve high service levels and efficient inventoryplacement.

  • Directlyimpactbusiness profitability and customerexperience.

  • Operational responsibility for end results planning andfinances/budget.

  • Set policies and businessstrategyfor the DC operation.

Distribution & Logistics Operations

  • Overseeday-to-dayoperations of a multi-national distribution center including receiving put-away picking packing shipping and outboundlogistics.

  • Ensureoptimalflow of goods and materials to support global customer and production demand.

  • Manage 3PL relationships and international freight operations to guaranteecost-effectiveandtimelydelivery.

  • Drive inventory accuracy and control through structured processes and robust cycle count programs.

  • Develop and manage inbound outbound returns and value-added service processes to ensure the highest levels of on-time service quality andefficiency.

  • Work seamlessly across multiple functions within the organization to understand requirements and lead change managementin order todeliverenterprise-wideprograms.

  • Provide a comprehensive understanding of customer needs.

  • Identifyand interpret changes in internal and external customer requirements.

  • Assistin developing meaningful metricsregardingwarehouse activity andperformance.

  • Own configuration optimization and continuous enhancement of WMS workflows.

  • Partner with IT andcross-functionalteams to troubleshoot issues and implement system improvements.

  • Use WMS data analytics to improve operational visibility labor efficiency and material accuracy.

Project ManagementContinuous Improvement & Problem Solving

  • Lead the local deployment of Lean Management methodologies including the identification development and implementation of Continuous Process Improvement Kaizens andProblem-Solvinginitiatives involving safety quality productivity and other cross-functional opportunities.

  • Lead development maintenance and optimization of PFEP data to ensure efficient material flow and storage strategies.

  • Implement PFEP-driven improvements that reduce handling improve throughput andoptimizewarehouse layout.

  • Lead lean initiativesincludingVSM (Value Stream Mapping) Kaizen 5S standard work and waste reduction programs.

  • Apply structuredproblem-solvingmethods (A3 8D root cause analysis) to resolve operational issues.

  • Drive measurable improvements in throughput cost accuracy and service levels.

What we look for

:

Bachelors degree in supply chain Logistics Operations Management or related field.

  • 7 years of experience in distribution center orlogisticsoperations including multi-national operations.

  • Demonstratedexpertisein WMS platforms

  • Strong experience with PFEP creation and management.

  • Proven success implementing CI tools (Lean VSM Kaizen 5 Whys RCCA).

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong leadership experience managing teams infast-pacedoperational environments.

  • Familiarity withMaterial Handling Equipment (MHE)

  • Ability to meet tight scheduling requirementseasily adjust andshift priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word

Preferred:

  • Start-up and Operational Stabilization experience

  • Oracle JD Edwards Distribution Center module

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $124000 - 145000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data).
