Job Summary
Due to an advancement within the district Mitchell Public Schools is seeking a Physical Education teacher for grades 7-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Mitchell Jr./Sr. High serves approximately 50 students per grade level. With a strong emphasis on developing students to become strong leaders physical education and health play an important role in that development.
We are seeking a candidate with a passion for physical development including strength agility speed and overall fitness. Courses include Health General Physical Education Strength/Weights and Lifetime Fitness.
In addition to the teaching role Mitchell has opportunities for coaching currently including Head Volleyball Head Basketball and a variety of Junior High coaching opportunities. The ideal candidate for Mitchell would possess the ability and willingness to coach our young athletes and instill a love for atheletics.
