TheRole:Lead Salesforce Compliance and Security

The Team:

The Salesforce Compliance & Security teamis responsible fordefiningoperating and continuously improving the control security and resilience posture of S&PGlobalsSalesforce ecosystem across multipleorgsand divisions. It is a cross-functional globally distributed team that partners closely with Technology Cyber Security Risk and Business stakeholders to deliver standardized scalable and auditable services. The team values operational rigor transparency and automation-driven scale with a strong emphasis on collaboration documentation and continuous improvement.

The Impact:

In this role you will directly shape how S&P Global manages compliance security and resilience for one of its most critical enterprise platforms ensuring Salesforce environments meet regulatory audit and cyber requirements. Your work will help safeguard sensitive data reduce operational and cyber risk and improve control maturity across all in-scope Salesforce orgs. By strengthening controls access governance and disaster recovery you will enable business teams toinnovate onSalesforce with confidence and trust in the platform.

Whatsin it for you:

  • Own a broad mandateacross compliance access governance security engineering monitoring and disaster recovery for a multi-org enterprise Salesforce landscape.
  • Partner with senior technology cyber and risk leadersto design and implement control frameworks standards and operating models that shape how Salesforce is governed across S&P Global.
  • Develop deepexpertisein Salesforce risk compliance and securitywhile gaining exposure to SOX/ITGC enterprise cyber GRC and resilience practices.
  • Drive automation and process improvement at scaleleading standardization evidence pipelines and enablement programs that materially reduce manual effort and improve control quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Design andoperatethe Salesforce compliance control framework(including SOX-relevant controls) standardizing procedures acrossorgsand ensuring sustained effectivenessevidencequality and successful audit outcomes.
  • Lead audit readiness and remediation governanceby coordinating PBCs walkthroughs responses to internal/external auditors and tracking findings and corrective actions to closure with clear reporting to leadership.
  • Establish and enforce access governance and least-privilege standardsthrough scalable role and permission design consistent access request/approval models periodic certifications and exception/SoDrisk management.
  • Translate enterprise cyber and security requirements into Salesforce security standardsbaselines and preventative guardrails driving prioritized risk remediation and security-by-design for changes and integrations.
  • Strengthen detection incident response and resilienceby defining logging/alerting strategies with SOC/SecOpsmaintainingincident and DR runbooks and planning/executing DR tests and readiness reporting.
  • Scale compliance delivery and enablementvia standardized intake service catalog and SLAs automation of evidence and reporting publication of playbooks/SOPs targeted training and recurring governance forums.

WhatWereLooking For:

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science Accounting/Finance or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business analysis platform operations security/compliance risk management audit support or related roles (Salesforce exposure strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated understanding of compliance and control concepts (e.g. SOX ITGC) evidence management and audit coordination plus familiarity with access governance and least-privilege principles.
  • Ability to work effectively with Salesforce security/access constructs (roles profiles permission sets) in partnership with platform teams; Salesforce or relevant security/GRC certifications are a plus.
