SUMMARY: The Maintenance Manager position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance functions to include production maintenance refrigeration and PSM maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
Ensure the plant utilities are being used in an efficient and economical manner to include water steam and electricity.
Ensure effective training and development of the maintenance team members.
Assist in the development and management of the plant maintenance budget.
Promote maintenance best practices to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance cost.
Act as project manager on capital and maintenance expenditure projects to ensure proper project scope development equipment specifications equipment selection costing planning scheduling installation and start up.
Ensure work orders are completed in a timely thorough and accurate manner; provide maintenance management with information materials and training to enable them to produce high quality work.
Ensure compliance with safety food safety and sanitation policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field AND 7 years of experience in engineering refrigeration or maintenance management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts including electrical hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Supervisory experience
