GeneralPosition Summary:
The co-op supportsproduct or process developmentactivities related to the development design research and manufacturing ofFresenius Medical Cares andNxStageMedicalsnew and existingproducts.As part of the R&D team this involvesparticipatingin testing design building samples and other activities as needed by the project -ops may be part of the system engineering hardware mechanical engineering ordisposablesengineering team.
GeneralResponsibilities:
Participate indevelopmentofverification test protocols fornew medicalequipment and/or upgrades to existing products.
Executesengineeringtest collect and analyze results.
Ensure all design activities conform to designcontrols;and thatall analysisdesignand testing activities are properly documented.
Assistthe product development team in the adoption and use of best practices and design methodologies.
Debugand developtestsetupand fixturesfor existing products and products under development.
Investigateand testthe feasibility of new projectssystemsor approaches.
Learn about and work in ways that are compliant with internal and external standards goodtestpractices and quality system regulations.
GeneralRequirements:
Candidate forBS orMSinElectricalMechanicalorComputerEngineering.
Entry level understanding of product and process development of medical devices is preferred.
Beginnersunderstandingofelectronics mechanical and software integration.
Has a constructiveapproachteamwork and collaboration.
Demonstrated interest in medicaldeviceor pharmaceutical industries.
Excellent technical communication skills and attention to detail including creating and editing technical procedures protocols and reports.
Commitment to performing all tasks with quality and integrity
