Our Business Analytics department are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analytics Intern to join our team. As a Business Analytics Intern you will play a crucial role in supporting our data-driven decision-making process. You will be involved in various stages of analytics projects including data labeling model evaluation refinement dimension mapping and ETL development. This position offers a rich hands-on learning experience in a dynamic business environment ideal for someone passionate about leveraging data to drive business success.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Data Labeling: Organize and label data effectively ensuring high quality and accessibility for analysis.
- Model Evaluation: Assess and report on the performance of statistical models identifying areas for improvement.
- Model Refinement: Collaborate with the analytics team to refine and enhance models based on evaluation outcomes.
- Dimension Mapping: Work on identifying and mapping key data dimensions ensuring alignment with business needs and analytics goals.
- ETL Development: Assist in the design and implementation of ETL processes for more efficient data extraction transformation and loading.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Analytics Data Science Statistics or a related field.
- Demonstrable understanding of statistical modeling data mining and machine learning techniques.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. SQL Python R Tableau).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education
Must have completed at least Freshman year of College/Trade School.
