Our client in the Agricultural space is looking for a Boran Stud Manager to be based in Boran Stud Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Boran cattle stud operations. This role involves managing the breeding care and development of Boran cattle maintaining the health and genetic integrity of the herd and ensuring efficient and productive stud operations.

Breeding Management
Herd Health and Welfare
Reproduction Management
Record Keeping
Staff Supervision
Facility and Equipment Management
Client Relations

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelors degree in Animal Science Agriculture or related field (advanced degrees preferred).
Proven experience in cattle breeding preferably with Boran cattle or other beef cattle breeds (2 years minimum).
Strong understanding of animal husbandry reproduction genetics and herd health management.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in record keeping and data management.
Familiarity with modern agricultural technologies and equipment.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions.
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Experience in staff supervision and team management.
