Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Flex Patrol in Puyallup WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines local laws and site requirements including maintaining control of issued equipment and following use-of-force reporting procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services and supporting evacuations when directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter with attention to entry points ATM areas parking areas and other high-traffic zones to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Complete detailed incident reports daily activity logs and/or other required documentation and communicate observations promptly to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Have 1 Years Law Enforcement Experience OR 2 Years Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3 Years Security Experience.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
