Job Description
As a Security Guard Armed Foot Rounds in Fairfax VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a healthcare location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations respond to concerns with professionalism and deliver strong customer service and communication to staff patients and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including calls for assistance disturbances and medical facility policy concerns and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
- Monitor access points and public areas observe for unusual conditions and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation communicate updates during post transitions and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and reporting timely details.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience 2 Years.
- Armed Guard Card/License.
- 21 Years of Age.
- CPR/First Aid - preferred.
- Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton - preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
