Multilingual Health and Medicine Expert

1. Role Overview

Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab on a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving medical reasoning clinical knowledge application and health-related analysis in advanced language models. Were seeking experienced Health and Medicine professionals to contribute by creating and evaluating health- and medicine-related prompts and responses.

This is a multilingual opportunity. We are specifically seeking experts who are fluent and professionally active in one or more of the following languages:

Japanese Chinese Korean Spanish Russian German Arabic Thai Tamil or Hindi.

Importantly we are not looking for translation ability alone. Candidates must have real-world professional experience practicing or working within healthcare systems in their language and cultural context with familiarity in local clinical guidelines medical terminology regulatory standards and patient communication norms.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Author realistic health and medicine prompts spanning clinical reasoning diagnosis differentials treatment planning pharmacology public health and patient education

• Review and revise AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy safety clarity and adherence to professional standards

• Write high-quality human-authored gold responses for complex or ambiguous medical scenarios

• Create controlled prompt variations that test subtle differences in patient demographics comorbidities care settings or regional guidelines

• Evaluate outputs across different tones (clinical educational advisory) and instruction constraints

• Identify model failure cases involving unsafe recommendations incorrect dosing logic flawed clinical reasoning or culturally inappropriate patient guidance

3. Ideal Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine Nursing Pharmacy Public Health or a closely related healthcare field

• 2 years of professional work experience in clinical practice healthcare delivery medical research or a related medical setting

• Active professional familiarity with healthcare systems and clinical practice in at least one of the following languages: Japanese Chinese Korean Spanish Russian German Arabic Thai Tamil or Hindi

• Strong understanding of local clinical guidelines standards of care and regulatory frameworks within your linguistic/cultural context

• Excellent analytical and written communication skills in the target language

• Ability to exercise careful safety-conscious editorial judgment
