Job Summary
Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Teaching Vacancies for the 2026- 2027 School Year The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or budget. Position: Special Education TeacherLocation: Center Elementary School General Description:- Design supervise and implement students IEP plans- Develop curriculum modifications and adaptations.- Participate in IEP Team meetings.- Write effective IEPs for students- Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress- Effectively work with a team of professionals to coordinate services- Consult with general education teacher and related service providers.- Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion.- Write quarterly progress reports for IEP goals that are data based on student performance.- Administer various diagnostic achievement assessments (WIAT-III Key Math GORT 5 etc) that identifies student capabilities as part of initial and reevaluation for students.- Write effective evaluation reports summarizing findings and making recommendations for assigned students.
