Job Summary
Balmoral Tanks Ltd is a leading European engineering design and manufacturing company. As a result of significant investment in people and plant the company produces what is believed to be the most comprehensive range of tank products available for a single source in the EU.
As a Despatch Operative you will play a key part in ensuring that all products coming into and leaving the site meet Balmorals quality standards and customer specifications. Youll work closely with the despatch and factory teams to support the smooth safe and timely movement of goods.
This role requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating in a safe working environment following company policies and procedures
- Checking and inspecting incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality specification and condition standards are met
- Ensuring HSE requirements and company procedures are adhered to at all times
- Wearing PPE in and out of the factory as required
- Maintaining records of your training and personal development
- Supporting the despatch of goods to meet customer deadlines including flexibility to work overtime when required
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as requested by the Despatch Team Leader
What Were Looking For
- Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
- Previous FLT experience
- Experience in a similar despatch warehouse or factory role (desirable)
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being confident working independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative
