Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Cincinnati OH. The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical and non-critical respiratory care services to patients across multiple age groups using invasive and noninvasive cardiopulmonary techniques. This role supports inpatient and outpatient care settings and requires strong clinical expertise and adherence to state scope-of-practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients and monitor responses to respiratory therapy treatments.
Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures.
Deliver respiratory care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions treatments and home care.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Support training and guidance for new staff and students when needed.
Participate in departmental meetings training and competency programs.
Assist with team or charge responsibilities when assigned.
Requirements
Required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC
Active Ohio Respiratory Care License
BLS American Heart Association
ACLS American Heart Association
Strong critical care and cardiopulmonary knowledge
Preferred
2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
NICU experience
NRP certification
Membership with professional respiratory care organizations
