As a Behavior Technicianyoullwork one-on-one with children helping them build communication social and problem-solving skills using evidence-based ABA techniques. Ifyoureempathetic motivated and excited to make a difference this could be the perfect fit.
WhatYoullDo
Provide1:1 ABA therapyin our centers or in home-based settings
Reinforce positive behaviors using techniques from ourindustry-leading training program
Track client progress using acompany-issued iPad and data systems
Collaborate with families and supervisors to support each childs growth

Schedule & Hours
This is apart-time role starting at approximately 15 hours per week with opportunities to buildadditionalhours based on availability and business needs.
Available schedule options include:
MondayFriday 9:00am-6:00pm Saturday9:00am-2:00pm
Opportunity to work 2530hours/weekMondayFriday 8:00am-8:00pm Saturday9:00am-2:00pm
Opportunity to work 2530 hours/weekMonday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00am-6:00pm OR 12:00pm-6:00pm
Opportunity to work 1520 hours/weekTuesday/Thursday 9:00am6:00pm Saturday 9:00am2:00pm
Opportunity to work 15 hours/week
Qualifications

Patience empathy and a passion for helping children
Strong communicationskills with both children and caregivers
Sound judgment in dynamic situations
A desire for a meaningful hands-on career
Experience working with children is a plus including backgrounds such as camp counselor nanny preschool teacher paraprofessional teachers aide or childcare volunteerbut all applicants are welcome.
WhatYoullNeed
High school diploma or GED
Enrolled or completed one college course (Trade/Tech School is applicable)
A passion for supporting children and familiesimpactedby autism
Comfort using tablet-based technology
Reliable transportation valid drivers license* and active car insurance
Military and college students may be exempt
Availability during times most needed by families
Commitment to completing ourpaid virtual RBT training program
Physical Requirements:
Direct work with clients may include without limitation the following physical demands: sitting kneeling squatting runningtwistingand turning reaching above shoulders and/or frequent physical listed are illustrative and may change at ACES discretion.

*The pay scale provided is the hourly wage range ACESreasonably expectsto pay for clinical work (i.e. direct treatment services)performed by team members in the position. ACES pays a different rate for non-clinical work ( travel time meetingsetc.) performed by team members which is paid at15.15/hour.
