Responsibilities- Develop an effective relationship with the Sales and Service teams to ensure effective sales to operations handovers optimized utilization of resources maximized pull through of service and projects.
- Manage engineers and others assigned to assigned projects.
- Control projects within required performance criteria (cost schedule quality customer satisfaction etc.).
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Follow all internal Honeywell processes for reporting project progress to your management. This includes monthly project reviews and all project gates.
- Responsible for billing the customer as per the contract and to ensure that all payments are collected in a timely way.
- Develop and deliver progress reports proposals requirements documentation and presentations.
- Coach mentor motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication training equipment/vehicle maintenance and facilities improvement. Manage safety program for assigned Projects.
- Supervise and manage the operational aspects of your projects / programs from inception to completion. You will implement the standard work required to run service projects.
- Lead the project ensuring it is completed on time under budget and above customerexpectations
- Be responsible for the cost schedule and execution of projects / programs of the company or subsystems of main programs.
- Effectively use centralized engineering to reduce installation cost.
- Participate in the negotiation of contract changes and will contribute to the project probability by supporting the sale of extra work orders or other added projects minimizing deviations and providing technical assistance to sales.
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals business plans statements and job specifications of proposals operating budgets and financial terms / conditions of the contract.
- Be the main contact with the client for project / program activities leading project / program review sessions with the client to discuss costs schedule and project performance
- Review the status of projects and budgets manage schedules and prepare status reports using Honeywell SAP and Cora PPM tools
- Evaluate project problems and develop resolutions to meet productivity quality and customer needs.
- Improve the deployment of Forge / ICT and Cyber .
Qualifications- Minimum associated degree technical trade school or diploma and 3 years of experience on a similar position
- Skill in using project scheduling and control software.
- Knowledge to interpret project finance reports and terminology. Knowledge in project management methodologies.
- Good understanding of product knowledge (Building automation) and industry standards and practices
- Fluent in both English and French
