We have a customer based in Tucson AZwho has an IMMEDIATE long-term DIRECT HIRE opening for an Electrical Engineer/PE who has experience in the mining mineral processing precious metals or heavy manufacturing industry. In this role you will work as an Electrical Engineer/PE supporting mineral processing and mining operations mainly in the Southwestern US (AZ NC CA). You will specifically be involved with large transformers medium voltage power switchgear starters feeders instrumentation and controls MCC DCS/PLCs etc. for both equipment and facilities.

This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE position but company will also consider candidates who are looking for contract/W-2 employment.

Candidate will work on mining/mineral processing projects in AZ CA and Nevada and will ideally have a PE in one or more of these states.

Compensation is in the 160-180K range.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

BSEE PE and over 15 years experience in mineral processing mining precious metals industry or similar heavy manufacturing/processing environment
Experience with Power distribution MCCs switchgear for mining and mineral processing equipment (conveyors crushers grinders large filtration equipment) I&C/Controls (PLCs DCS) facilities/building electrical
Experience in Mining and mineral processing experience in the SW USA -- AZ CA NV etc.
Must have strong problem solving skills Safety first mentality and good management skills highly preferred
Good communication skills
