Job Summary
Position Title: Travel Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinician (LCSW)
Location: Hyannis Massachusetts
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Schedule: 5 Days per Week 40 Hours
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Occasional Weekends and Holidays
Weekly Gross Pay: $2498.50
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinician to join a multidisciplinary care team in an acute care setting. The clinician will conduct psychosocial assessments develop treatment plans facilitate therapy sessions and coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care for patients with behavioral health needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct clinical and psychosocial assessments for patients with acute behavioral health conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary care teams.
Provide individual family and group therapy including crisis intervention and stabilization services.
Coordinate discharge planning and referrals to appropriate community programs and services.
Act as a liaison between patients families healthcare providers and community agencies.
Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with care management teams for service authorization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support inpatient and partial hospitalization behavioral health programs.
Participate in community outreach and maintain a patient-centered approach to care.
Required Qualifications
Active Massachusetts licensure as LICSW LCSW LMHC LMFT or PhD in Psychology.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong clinical assessment crisis intervention and behavioral health treatment planning skills.
Knowledge of inpatient behavioral health systems discharge planning and community resources.
Excellent communication documentation and teamwork skills.
