You will be part of the hardware development team in Linköping which consists of engineers within electronics mechanics and embedded software. We work together across the disciplines in projects to create world-class products.

You are welcome to apply regardless of experience level. Relevant educational background for the role is a university degree in computer science or a similar.

What youll do as an Embedded Software Engineer:

As an embedded software engineer in our team you collaborate and communicate a lot with other engineers within Axis both in Linköping and on other sites to deliver products. Your main objective will be to build functional scalable and high-quality software solutions in a common code base.

Our software responsibilities span all the way from hardware via drivers system services API:s to web-based interfaceswith the main work being:

• Developing software in C or C for embedded Linux systems.
• Developing software in C for MCU (for example Bare-Metal or using FreeRTOS).
• Using Git Gerrit and GitHub for revision handling and review.
• Writing unit and system test cases.

Experience or interest within the above-mentioned areas is a good foundation. Other areas of interest that is meriting for the role are:

• Yocto and embedded Linux systems.
• Programming languages as Rust Python Shell and Typescript
