SIL Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled SIL Engineer to join our team and strengthen our capabilities within the development environment sector. This is a consultancy assignment based in Gothenburg focused on perfecting automation optimization and model-based development toolchains.

As a SIL Engineer you will focus on the development environment leveraging your expertise in Matlab/Simulink within a CI/CD context. You will thrive on optimizing model simulations (MIL/SIL) and code generation through profiling and automation.

You should be confident debugging issues related to code generation and unit testing of models serving as the primary interface with suppliers (e.g. MathWorks) to resolve technical hurdles.

Qualifications :

Technical Profile

A successful candidate will possess a strong background in:

• Model-Based Design: Matlab/Simulink toolchains and automation scripting.

• Programming: Proficient in Python and basic C programming.

• Development Ops: Experience with CI/CD workflows.

• Bonus Skills: Experience with Docker Cloud environments and Jenkins pipeline coding (Groovy).

Technology Pillars

The client operate as a T-shaped cross-functional team. While your focus is SIL you will have the opportunity to collaborate across our five core responsibility areas:

1. Software Factory

• Docker Swarm orchestration and GNU/Linux toolchains.

• Integration layers in Python.

• Microservices ( backend frontend) and DB solutions (PostgreSQL MongoDB).

2. Continuous Integration

• Jenkins CI/CD management.

• Pipeline development using Groovy.

3. Build System

• CMake Git and Conan package management.

• C compiler/linker knowledge for MCUs (e.g. Infineon Aurix Tricore).

• Batch scripting.

4. Test System

• Automating HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) tooling using COM objects in Python.

• General knowledge of automotive HIL environments.

5. Development Environment

• Advanced Matlab / Simulink automation and optimization.
