What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific access control and screening procedures at a healthcare location including directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
• Conduct entry screening activities such as observing for prohibited items and/or concerning behaviors requesting identification when required and assisting with visitor management processes in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying clinical staff and/or site leadership as appropriate and completing required reports.
• Support emergency response activities by following established protocols for medical fire and/or facility alerts including helping to coordinate controlled movement of people through entrances and lobbies.
• Maintain a visible presence at assigned posts to help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns and communicate observations promptly to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
