SCOPE OF WORK: The Manager of Athletics & Campus Life supports and implements the operational and administrative functions of NHTIs athletic programs under the direction of the Director of Athletics & Campus Life. This position focuses on day-to-day program coordination compliance support and student-athlete services ensuring effective program delivery and a positive student experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university with major study in recreation sports management coaching health education physical education or a related field.
Experience: Two (2) years experience as a physical education teacher athletics program coordinator coach recreation coordinator recreation therapist or related work experience in education health athletics recreation or sports management field. Certifications or completed training in CPR first aid AED etc.
License/Certification: Possession of a valid Drivers License.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: For appointment consideration College Manager Student Life applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge skills and abilities identified as necessary for satisfactory job performance by this class specification.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in education coordinating athletic or recreational programs for students.

Knowledge of individual and group behavior. Ability to plan supervise coordinate and direct the work of others. Ability to evaluate situations. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers governmental agencies and the public. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority.
