Job Summary

Position Title: Enrollment Outreach Specialist

Wage/HourStatus: Exempt/At will

Position Summary

The Enrollment Outreach Specialist is responsible for building relationships with families and the community to increase student enrollment at the Arrow Academy Charter School. This role focuses on direct communication with prospective families through phone calls emails text messaging events social media and in-person outreach. The specialist provides accurate information about the schools programs supports families through introductions about Arrow visits to the school the enrollment process and ensures a positive experience from first contact through registration.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree 3 years of community organizing and public relations experience. One year of community organizing or public relations experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to work on multiple projects with clear deadlines. Ability to work with a diverse range of groups including all communities ethnicities religions and cultural and social groups/backgrounds. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public other employees and elected officials. Ability to work independently takes initiative able to work with a diverse group of individuals strong writing skills excellent public relation skills.Must provide evidence of reliable insured transportation available for travel during working hours. Driver must provide evidence of a valid drivers license and good driving record. Applicant must pass a required background check.

  • Experience in customer service admissions outreach or sales preferred.

  • Bilingual (Spanish or other community language) is a plus.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Conduct direct outreach to prospective communities of families through phone email text social media and in-person communication.
  • Respond to inquiries about the school academic programs and enrollment requirements.
  • Guide families step-by-step through the application and enrollment process.
  • Schedule and coordinate school tours information sessions and enrollment events.
  • Build relationships with community organizations local businesses and neighborhood groups to promote the school.
  • Use social media outreach processes to engage in online community communication
  • Set your schedule to be present at all three school sites supporting the principal an staff on meeting recruiting expectations.
  • Follow up with interested families to encourage application completion.
  • Represent the school at community events fairs and outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and school leadership to support enrollment goals.
  • Track outreach performance and provide weekly reports on enrollment pipeline activity.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of community resources. Builds liaisons with other community agencies.
  • Works collaboratively with each school principal and Superintendent using an interdisciplinary approach to provide comprehensive integrated communications for families.
  • Conduct site tours with families and organized outreach activities to recruit prospective families.
  • Attend school meetings trainings as requested.
  • Uses a variety of communication approaches with parents that show sensitivity and respect for their cultures and languages.
  • Maintains a professional attitude working cooperatively with all staff and parents; provides leadership and guidance in treating all children and their families with dignity and respect.
  • Maintains confidentiality as required by law.
  • Attends community meetings where Arrow Academy representation is appropriate.
  • Has the ability to work a varied schedule including some evenings and weekends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This is professional position that uses professional judgment and may serve more than forty hours per week. Retirement is through the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) of Texas andnotSocial Security. TRS requires five years of participation before any retirement funds are vested. The Texas Workers Compensation program covers this position.
